- Bring 550ml water to a boil in a large saucepan over a high heat.
- Add 200g brown rice. Cover the pan and reduce the heat to a simmer.
- Simmer, covered, for 45 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and allow to sit for 15 minutes without removing the lid. Open the pot and fluff the rice with a fork.
