DIY flavoured butters
Start with 100g of room temperature butter and then try adding…
Sage and onion
1 finely chopped shallot + 2 tbsp chopped fresh sage
Cinnamon honey
50g icing sugar + 2 tbsp honey + 1 tsp cinnamon
Chilli and herb
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley + 1 crushed garlic clove + ½ a deseeded and finely chopped red chilli
Lemon and dill
2 tbsp chopped dill + 1 tsp lemon juice + ½ tsp lemon zest
Red wine
1 tbsp red wine + 1 finely-chopped shallot + 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
