If you’re looking to treat yourself to a stunning seafood lunch in the heart of Dublin City, look no further than The Shelbourne’s Champagne Terrace, which has recently reopened for the next few months.
We were lucky enough to attend the relaunch celebrations, earlier this month, where we got a taster of the impressive menu. Head chef Garry Hughes designed a beautiful seafood-focused menu to complement and enhance the Champagnes on offer, including the classic Champagne pairing of a half dozen coastal oysters for €21.
Diners might also be tempted by the Dublin Lawyer at €40, which is half a Lambay lobster with a green spot glaze, or share a delightful seafood platter for €65, which boasts Dublin Bay prawns, Sligo mussels, whiskey cured salmon, coastal oysters and Liscannor crab cocktail.
With a stunning floral installation bringing the prettiest summer vibes, The Champagne Terrace will showcase the fine Champagnes from Moët & Chandon, along with a selection of elegant Champagne cocktails.
There are four elegant and summery Champagne cocktails (€18), including the Grand Dame, with delightful notes of peach and jasmine topped with Moët & Chandon Champagne; Purple Passion, a vibrant and summery combination of violette liqueur, Grand Marnier, clarified mint pineapple cordial, peach bitters and Champagne; French 1824 with brings together Angostura 1824, pomegranate liqueur, lemon juice and Moët & Chandon Champagne; and the Shelbourne Velvet combining the Shelbourne Irish Whiskey Stout with Moët & Chandon Champagne.
The Champagne Terrace by Moët & Chandon at The Shelbourne will be the perfect place to celebrate summer and raise a glass with friends. For more information, visit theshelbourne.com.
