All Together Now Festival is not to be missed this summer!

Festivals are one of our absolute favourite things about the summer – and those that celebrate food just as much as we do on a daily basis are top of our list. All Together Now Festival is one festival that lets food take centre stage, championing the producers, chefs and community that love to celebrate food.

We’re beyond excited for this year’s festival which is happening on the August Bank Holiday Weekend in Curraghmore Estate, County Waterford – the prime festival weekend if you ask us!

The incredible food line-up which boasts everything from sit-down dinner experiences to artisanal food traders has us especially stoked. Here’s a taste of why…

Sandymount’s much-loved Crudo is taking over the restaurant

Crudo –  a firm easyFood favourite – is a happening neighbourhood seafood restaurant, inspired by Mediterranean fare and lifestyle. It recently so deservedly won the best casual dining award in the 2023 Irish Restaurant Awards – and this year, its incredible team is taking over the All Together Now restaurant. With a proud focus on local and sustainable seafood and produce, and a menu brimming with mouthwatering dishes like Raviolo del Plin with slow-cooked meat sugo, farmhouse butter and Parmigiano Extra Vecchio, to Wild Mushroom Panzarotti made with roast mushroom and smoked chilli ragu, truffle ricotta and hazelnuts, we are beyond excited. It’s certainly not the type of food we first tried at festivals – and that has us smiling from ear to ear.

Grub Circus is taking over the Theatre of Food space this year

An established part of the All Together Now food offering, Grub Circus returns! It’s been a staple since the festival kicked off in 2018 and with an action-packed programme complete with an extravaganza of events, demos, cooking competitions, tastings, workshops and debates, it’s sure to have something for every festival goer. Some of Ireland’s top food personalities including, chefs, producers, growers, makers, distillers, food writers and more strut their stuff on stage. With eight Michelin stars between them, chefs including Jordan Bailey, Damien Grey, Kevin Thornton, Jess Murphy, Kwanghi Chan, Aishling Moore, Rory O’Connell, Darina Allen, Denis Cotter, Enda McEvoy, Paul Flynn, and David Bradshaw make up a line-up that’s not to be missed.

There will be OATLY soft-serve served!

OATLY soft serve served at music festivals is a thing now – we couldn’t be more excited! We’ve no vegans on the team, but we do strive to eat a balanced diet, typically eating dairy and meat in moderation. We’ll be paying this year’s Oatly soft zone a visit or three for sure!

There’s so much choice when it comes to vendors!

We’ve rarely been to a festival where there’s so much to choose from in terms of food – and such a great selection of vendors offering excellent vegan choices. With vendors’ menus spanning cuisines across the world, we will truly be spoiled for choice. The delicious line-up includes The Hartrey Kitchen, Kerala Kitchen, Love Falafel, Thanks Plants Food Truck, The Phat Cow, Flaming Cactus, Lala Poutine, Blaa Burger, and our ever-faves: The Big Blue Bus. We’re seriously excited to sample the lot – how many meals can we have in one weekend?!

Not to mention the rest of the lineup…

It’s not all about the food, of course. All Together Now is focused on curating a brilliantly diverse festival. Music headliners this year include incredible local artists like Saint Sister, Villagers, Sorcha Richardson, Talos, David Kitt, Le Boom and Trinity Orchestra, as well as top talent from overseas like Jamie xx, Iggy Pop, Loyle Carner, Caribou, Lorde, Sugababes, Barry Can’t Swim, Jessie Ware, Todd Terje and Robert Hood – to name just a few. Check out the full line-up here.

Other favourites include; the tranquil RISE Nordic Spa and Bosca Beatha; The Greencrafts Village: a hub where some of the finest skilled craftspeople including blacksmiths, goldsmiths, willow weavers, and flower garland makers show off their talents; and a host of super-special comedy acts from the likes of Tommy Tiernan and Deirdre O’Kane, to Enya Martin, Killian Sundermann and Micheal Fry

All Together Now festival takes place over the August Bank Holiday weekend (August 4th to 6th) in the Curraghmore Estate, County Waterford. Tier 4 general camping tickets are priced at €235 – and there are still a handful up for grabs. Head to alltogethernow.ie to get yours now!
