- Place the apples, pears and sugar in a large pot and add 50ml of water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes until the cooking apples have collapsed and the eating apples and pears are tender.
- Add the cranberries and cook for one minute, then add more sugar if needed. Serve on top of pancakes or with vanilla ice cream.
