To serve:

  1. In a large bowl, add the beef strips, one teaspoon of the cornflour and some black pepper. Toss to coat the steak fully.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the stock, soy sauce, honey, sesame seeds, garlic, chilli and the remaining cornflour.
  3. Heat the oil in a wok over a high heat and cook the steak for two minutes until browned on all sides.
  4. Add the sauce and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Remove from the heat and serve with boiled rice, green vegetables and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
