These quick toppings for toast make any breakfast or lunch hour a no brainer.



Cinnamon cream cheese and banana
Serves 1


Toast 2 slices of bread to your liking. Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine 4 tbsp soft cream cheese with 2 tsp honey and ½ tsp ground cinnamon. Spread the mixture over the toast and top with sliced banana.






Avocado and tomato
Serves 1


Toast 2 slices of bread to your liking. Meanwhile, roughly mash 1 ripe avocado and season with salt and black pepper. Spread the toast with the mashed avocado and top with sliced tomato, crumbled Feta and snipped chives.







Almond butter and raspberry
Serves 1

Toast 2 slices of bread to your liking. Spread thickly with almond butter, then top with fresh raspberries and flaked almonds.

Tuna and sun-dried tomato pesto
Serves 1

Toast 2 slices of bread to your liking. Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine 1 x 160g tin of tuna with 2 tsp mayonnaise, 2 tsp sun-dried tomato pesto, 1 chopped spring onion and some black pepper. Spread the mixture over the toast.







Cheesy beans
Serves 1

Toast 2 slices of bread to your liking. Meanwhile, heat ½ x 400g tin of baked beans in a pot on the stove or in the microwave. Stir in ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce (omit for vegetarians). Butter the toast and place on a serving plate, then top with the beans and 30g grated Cheddar.







Brie and prosciutto
Serves 1

Toast 2 slices of bread to your liking. Spread with fresh basil pesto and top with sliced Brie, torn prosicutto and a few sun-dried tomatoes. Add an extra drizzle of pesto, if desired.
