To serve

  1. In a small, microwave-safe mug or dish, stir together the blueberries and orange juice.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the butter, maple syrup and flour and mix until smooth. Stir in the milk and vanilla.
  3. Spoon the cobbler mixture over the top of the blueberries, then scatter with the flaked almonds. Microwave on medium for 3-5 minutes until puffed up.
  4. Leave to cool for 2-3 minutes, then dust with icing sugar and top with a scoop of ice cream, if desired.
