Optional toppings:

  1. Heat the oil in a large pan over a medium heat. Add the onion and cook for 4-5 minutes until just softened.
  2. Add the beef mince and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for 5-6 minutes until completely browned and no pink parts remain, breaking up any lumps with a wooden spoon.
  3. Stir in the ketchup and mustard. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the grated cheese and allow to melt through.
  4. Serve the cheeseburger mixture with your choice of soft or hard taco shells and add your favourite burger toppings.

Note:
hard taco shells can be used as an alternative to soft taco shells, if you wish.
Little Gem lettuce can be used as an alternative to Iceberg lettuce, if you wish.
