To serve

  1. Combine the orange juice, ginger and sugar in a saucepan over a medium-low heat. Heat, gently stirring until the sugar dissolves. 
  2. Pour through a sieve into a jug and discard the ginger. Allow to cool. 
  3. Add ice and some orange slices, then top with ginger ale before serving.
