Looking for a new cookery show to sink your teeth into each week? We’re super excited to tune into the second season of Off Duty Chef, airing on RTÉ One every Wednesday at 8pm, proudly sponsored by M&S Food.

For six weeks, starting from April 26th, home cooks around the country are invited into the kitchen with famed Irish chef, Mark Moriarty, as he teaches us how to bring basic recipes to the next level.

From how to cook fish perfectly to the importance of balancing flavours and reimagining leftovers to save money and reduce waste, Mark brings a new collection of recipes that focus on key cooking techniques and skills using easy to get ingredients to make the most out of your weekly food shop.

He’ll be showing us how to make your own version of popular takeaway dishes too – think delectable golden scampi, crispy duck pancakes, messy but delicious chicken wings and posh kebabs. As an accomplished pastry chef, Mark will also be showing us all the potential pitfalls we come up against in baking too.
