- Place two slices of the batch bread on a chopped board. Spread one with butter and cranberry sauce. Spread the other with mayonnaise and mustard. Be generous.
- On the mayonnaise side, layer up the stuffing and then the lettuce leaves.
- Place the gravy in a shallow bowl and warm in the microwave until lightly steaming. Add the remaining slice of bread and turn to coat in the gravy, then leave to soak for 30-40 seconds.
- Working quickly, place the gravy-soaked bread (the “Moist Maker”) on top of the lettuce. Layer the roast turkey or chicken on top and season with salt and pepper, then sandwich together with the buttered slice of bread. Carefully press down on the top slice and cut the sandwich in half, then enjoy immediately, before someone steals it from the work fridge.
Note: chicken can be used as an alternative to leftover roast turkey, if you wish. l
