- Preheat the oven to 180˚C/160˚C fan/gas mark 4.
- In a bowl, cream together the butter, vanilla, water, salt and sugar. Add the flour and cinnamon, if using, and mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
- Use clean hands to break off small pieces and roll into balls about 2cm in diameter. Place on a baking tray and bake for 20-22 minutes, then remove from the oven. Cool for 6-7 minutes.
- While the cookies are still a little warm, dust them with icing sugar “snow.”
