- Combine the water and sugars in a saucepan over a medium heat and bring to the boil until all of the sugar is dissolved.
- Remove the pan from the heat and allow to cool for 15 minutes.
- Stir the vodka, almond extract and vanilla extract into the mixture. Store in a sealed bottle and attach a ribbon with the following: "This is lovely served simply as an after-dinner drink, but is also delicious drizzled over ice cream or in a coffee!"
