Grilled pineapple

Grilled pineapple Easy Food
Serves 4
1 small pineapple, cored and cut into 8 slices
4 tbsp brown sugar
¼ tsp cinnamon

To serve:
4scoops of vanilla ice cream

  1. Combine the pineapple slices, brown sugar and cinnamon in a sealable bag. Massage gently to combine. Set aside for five minutes.
  2. Preheat a griddle pan or barbecue to a medium-high heat. Remove the pineapple from the bag, reserving the juices in the bag.
  3. Cook the slices of pineapple on the griddle pan or barbecue for 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Serve two slices per person, topped with a scoop of ice cream and drizzled with the reserved juices.
