Baker Boys, Café & Deli in Sligo is a café with a difference. The design-led and pared-back interiors create the perfect backdrop for their deli-style food. It was the brainchild of Myles Lamberth of Shells Café fame, and while Shells is the perfect beachside cafe, Baker Boys — in the heart of Sligo’s working quarter — is a fresh take with a focus on food and
art. Dubbed the urban cousin of Shells, Baker Boys is all about functionality.
The takeaway deli has the same level of finesse as the café, plus a fully commercial on-site bakery providing for wholesale and catering. Baker Boys became a beacon of light for those working from home during the pandemic, offering incredible coffee, doughnuts, cakes, lunch and dinner made from the freshest local ingredients. And after two turbulent years, Myles says he has a renewed energy for both art and the café.
Myles and his wife Jane used any downtime to rethink, improve and challenge the way they do things. They’re excited about the next chapter and focusing on the café’s core ethos of providing a social, fun and inviting space to take a break from the daily working grind.
Now, you can try it for yourself! We have four €50 from Baker Boys to give away.
