To serve

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas mark 6. Grease and line a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, add the softened butter and flour and rub together until the mix resembles breadcrumbs. Add the sugar, ground almonds and flaked almonds.
  3. Add the sliced pears to the baking dish.
  4. Cook for 20 minutes, until the crumble turns golden.
  5. Serve with ice cream or custard.
