The Scullery is an Irish food producer of award-winning relishes, sauces, chutneys, pickles, glazes and Christmas puddings, free from preservatives or additives. This is the brainchild of Tipperary native Florrie Purcell, who developed the ideas for her business from many days over the Aga by her mother’s side.
Florrie remembers making the Christmas pudding as a child with her mother starting in September, and the ritual of taking the pudding out once a week with everyone in the family making wishes instilled such a love for “plum pudding” that Florrie used it to launch her business. The Scullery has since expanded its product range to include other Christmas staples, such as “Florrie’s Ham Glaze,” “The Scullery Cranberry Sauce,” “The Scullery Brandy Butter” and “The Scullery Mulled Christmas Chutney” and has been recognized with multiple Blas na hÉireann Irish Food Awards.
