Located in the heart of the Liberties, the Guinness Open Gate Brewery has unveiled their newly revamped outdoor beer garden, where you can sit down and enjoy some delicious food paired with brews in their cosy snugs. The Guinness Open Gate Brewery have partnered with local artist, Holly Pereira, to transform the beer garden into a colourful canvas with the creation of a new “We Dream in Beer” mural, making it the perfect backdrop for catching up with friends.
The Guinness Open Gate Brewery is the home of experimentation at Guinness, meaning their team of expert brewers are constantly getting creative with flavours and experimenting with new pours. Their current summer menu boasts a fresh honey stout made using leftover bread from a local bakery and is packed full of caramel and butterscotch notes, making it the perfect brew to enjoy in the sunshine! If you’re looking for something rich with flavour, why not try a chocolate stout? Using the finest cocoa powder in the mash, this brew offers a subtle coconut aroma and a burst of chocolate notes! With a continuously rotating beer menu, there are always fresh new brews on tap to try, making it the perfect place for beer enthusiasts to challenge their taste buds while chatting to Guinness beer specialists about all things beer, brewing and hops.
But beer isn’t the only thing on offer at the Guinness Open Gate Brewery! The team have created a brand new food menu packed full of delicious bites, specially curated to pair with their array of exciting brews. Prepared using great local produce from some of the best Irish farmers and suppliers, including ToonsBridge Dairy, Walsh’s Bakehouse and Scúp Gelato, it’s guaranteed to make your mouth water! Think halloumi ‘fries’, shrimp arancini with coconut, lime and chilli — not to mention their famous Korean-style chicken wings with kimchi mayo. Got room for dessert? Give into temptation with the vegan chocolate ‘Marathon’ bar with hazelnuts and peanuts, the perfect way to finish off your meal! Whatever your tastes, the choices are endless, and one thing is certain: the Guinness Open Gate Brewery is the place to be.
