The five-star InterContinental Dublin has announced a frightfully tasty Halloween Afternoon Tea menu, available from the 26th October to 1st November.
Cosy up on an autumn afternoon in the luxurious newly-refurbished Lobby Lounge or Reading Room at InterContinental Dublin, in the leafy surroundings of historic Ballsbridge.
Choose from a selection of delicate finger sandwiches such as smoked Irish salmon and dill cream cheese; lemon scented chicken salad; egg paprika; and ham, cheese and mustard, and enjoy plain or raisin buttermilk scones with homemade raspberry and mango preserves.
Desserts include ‘Pumpkin Panic’ with pumpkin-spiced mousse, ginger sponge and crisp gingerbread; a ‘Hazelnut Howler’ tart with a speculoos pastry base and hazelnut bavarois; a Creepy Caramel Creme Brûlée with caramel baked custard and dark chocolate soil; and a Spooky Spider Spice Cake with moist cinnamon sponge and blackberry jam.
Halloween Afternoon Tea is offered with your choice of Shibui Loose Leaf Tea or Bewley’s coffees, or you can indulge in a glass of Perrier-Jouët Champagne as you sit back in five-star luxury. Bone appetit!
Traditional Halloween Afternoon Tea is priced at €40 per person and Perrier-Jouët Champagne Halloween Afternoon Tea is €55pp.
