There are boundless brilliant cookery schools in Ireland but just one has been crowned above all others at the Irish Restaurant Awards.
At the Clayton Hotel Dublin on May 13th, The Neven Maguire Cookery School took home the prize for Best Cookery School for the second year in a row.
The award-winning chef was thrilled to receive the coveted award, saying: “We are absolutely delighted to be chosen as Best Cookery School in Ireland.
“I love teaching people who are as passionate about food as I am in my cookery school. I am extremely grateful to my team who support me in the cookery school, they deserve this accolade.”

The state-of-the-art cookery school, located beside MacNean House & Restaurant, features a range of diverse cookery classes for all skill levels. Classes are purposely kept small to ensure the best learning experience from Neven and his team from Mac Nean restaurant. Classes include both hands-on learning and demonstrations.
Speaking at the awards, Chief Executive of the Restaurants Association of Ireland Adrian Cummins commented: “This is the 11th year of the Irish Restaurant Awards, and it has been the biggest year for the awards to date.
“Over 90,000 nominations were received from the public in January, and over 2,000 restaurateurs attended the Regional Awards. The standard for judging this year has been very high.”
The 2019 Irish Restaurant Awards are run by The Restaurants Association of Ireland, they are the largest and most coveted awards in the Irish Restaurant Industry.
