    Passionate plant-based chef and author of best-selling cookbook ‘Vegan-ish’, Holly White, has announced two new online cookery courses, which will help you to prepare an epic Christmas dinner and make the transition to a vegan lifestyle in the New Year an easy one.

    Holly switched to a vegan diet seven years ago due to health reasons. With her body finding it hard to digest dairy products and animal welfare plus environmental concerns cementing her move away from meat, she went on the search for alternatives. Her thirst for knowledge about veganism has since taken her around the globe. Holly holds a certification in Plant-based Nutrition from Cornell University and has trained with some of the world’s best vegan chefs, including The Wild Food Café in London and PlantLab in Los Angeles.

    Reducing meat consumption and/or eating a vegan or plant-based diet has subsequently been identified as the single biggest way that consumers can reduce their carbon footprint and positively impact climate change. To make it as easy as possible for people to make the transition, Holly has used her expertise to develop two vegan online cookery courses that make creating tasty nutrient-dense meals at home effortless.

    On Wednesday 15th December (6.30-8pm), Holly will host a live online cook-along via Zoom. A Very Vegan Christmas Dinner will provide you with all of the knowledge and tips you’ll need to prepare the most epic of plant-based Christmas Day meals. Over the course of the 90-minute long class, you’ll be shown how to make Holly’s beetroot, mushroom and chestnut tart; sage & onion gravy; the best ever roast potatoes; herb-crusted cauliflower cheese; and cinnamon, apple and blackberry crumble with clotted cream.

    Participants will also receive an eBook containing additional recipes for smoked salmon with cream cheese on chickpea blinis; cranberry, orange and ginger sauce; an onion, leek and potato gratin; tofu mini quiches with spinach and shallot; orange & maple roasted carrots; chocolate orange raw brownies; and vegan mince pies.

    A thoughtful gift for friends and family this Christmas is Holly’s ‘4 Week Vegan Cooking & Lifestyle Course’, which starts on Monday 3rd January (7-8.15pm) and runs until Monday 24th January. Over the course of the four-week cook-along Zoom series, Holly will share everything she knows about living a plant-based lifestyle, meal planning, shopping, navigating social circumstances, and supplementing. You’ll also learn how to create a number of Holly’s favourite plant-based dishes; lentil Bolognese; a vegan Caesar salad with chickpea croutons; vegan burgers; A Thai noodle bowl; chocolate and caramel squares; and homemade almond milk, as well as a tofu masterclass.

    Attendees will also receive a copy of Holly’s plant-based eBook, containing lifestyle tips and recipes for over 40 practical and easy-to-prepare dishes, all of which are gluten-free as well as vegan.
