This looks like the place to be to try new global flavours this summer! Roe & Co Distillery’s Cocktail Village will collaborate with six local restaurants to celebrate flavours from around the world.
Roe & Co Distillery are collaborating with Spitalfields, Pickle, Bahay, Nightmarket, Matsu and Lil Portie, who will each provide a menu featuring a unique Roe & Co whiskey cocktail pairing inspired by the dishes.
Spitalfields’ Chef Stephen McAlister will be serving up potted shrimp with devilled eggs and Goatsbridge trout roe on soda bread, paired with Roe & Co whiskey cocktails.
Pickle will be bringing the colours and heat of India with a menu of regional Indian dishes inspired by the flavours of home from Gwalior in Northern India. Pickle’s Goat on Toast is a favourite.
Bahay’s chef Richie Costello will be showcasing Filipino flavours combined with Irish ingredients and serving his Inihaw na Manok speciality.
Ranelagh’s Nightmarket’s Thai menu will offer the rustic taste of Chiang Mai, and spicy seafood dishes of Hua Hin, while using as many local, Irish ingredients as possible.
Matsu Ramen will be bringing an authentic taste of Japan with Sushi Moriawase and flavoursome ramen inspired by his granddad’s own ramen restaurant in Yamagata, Japan.
Lil Portie’s Caribbean menu with a Latin twist combines locally sourced Irish ingredients, with Caribbean flavours. We’re dying to try the Cuban mojo pork patacones with crispy black pudding and granny’s secret sauce!
The menu will change each fortnight. Set menus are priced at €40 per person, and Roe & Co whiskey cocktail pairings at €30 per person.
