To create the ultimate at-home rugby occasion, Guinness has teamed up with former Leinster rugby player Isa Nacewa and former Munster player Ronan O’Gara to reveal limited edition Guinness x BuJo Home Kits.
This weekend’s Guinness PRO14 games will welcome the return of live rugby after a 175-day absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite an empty stadium, there’ll be plenty of excitement as Leinster meets Munster in the Aviva Stadium this Saturday 22nd at 7.30pm. To celebrate, Guinness, in collaboration with BuJo, has created two limited edition kits, one for Leinster and one for Munster, priced at €40. BuJo was one of the first outlets to offer at-home meal kits so burger addicts all over the country can create their own BuJo masterpieces at home, with everything they need delivered directly to their doorstep in a convenient, environmentally friendly package. (We can confirm we’ve made very good use of these burger kits over the past few months, especially during lockdown.)
Along with the usual 12 burger patties, eight buns, pickles, cheese and BuJo’s unreal burger sauce, these rugby-themed kits will feature two commemorative Guinness Glasses engraved with the fixture date to mark rugby’s long-awaited return, and four cans of Guinness for the ultimate at-home celebration. One of the Leinster kits and one of the Munster kits will also feature a Guinness Golden Rugby Ticket, which includes a pair of tickets to each of Ireland’s home fixtures in the 2021 Guinness Six Nations (T&Cs apply).
Guinness will tap into the long-standing rivalry between Leinster and Munster as the former players seek support for their province’s Guinness x BuJo Home Kit. Whoever’s kit sells out first will be deemed the winner, and the loser will deliver a message to congratulate their rival on social media.
Any chance to support our favourite team by eating great burgers definitely gets the thumbs-up from Easy Food! Whose box will you be ordering?
