As big fans of the Irish food and drink industry, we were incredibly proud to hear that Jameson Distillery Bow St. has been named the World’s Leading Distillery Tour at the World Travel Awards (WTA) for the second year in a row.
he awards acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence in global travel and tourism. They were up against some stiff competition with the finalist list including the likes of Macallan, Hennessy, Jack Daniels and Jose Cuervo.
The 26th World Travel Awards Grand Final Gala Ceremony 2019 took place at the Royal Opera House Muscat, Oman, with the leading decision-makers, figureheads and influencers of travel in attendance. The evening marked the climax of the WTA Grand Tour 2019 – an annual search for the finest travel and tourism organisations in the world, featuring the winners of WTA’s six regional ceremonies going head-to-head for the coveted world titles.

This is another huger win for the Irish Distiller as Jameson Distillery Bow St. was also awarded Europe’s Leading Distillery Tour for the second year in a row at The World Travel Awards Europe Gala Ceremony 2019, held in Madeira in June.
