How to celebrate Coeliac Awareness Week at home

Coeliac Awareness Week May 2020 Easy Food

The Coeliac Society of Ireland is celebrating 50 years since its foundation, and we love seeing that it continues to evolve in supporting and representing the coeliac community. Their key message is that coeliacs and gluten-intolerant people need not suffer in silence — and they provide plenty of resources to help.

Just today, the Coeliac Society has announced a new tracking system that will assist GPs to “think coeliac,” and identify those that need to be on a gluten-free diet. The Society also runs weekly Facebook advice sessions amongst many other initiatives, and has lined up a selection of virtual activities to celebrate this year’s Coeliac Awareness Week, from May 11-15th.
