Easter is around the corner and it’s usually one of the times during the year where we can all show off some of our culinary skills in the kitchen by preparing the roast. But what if you want to eat less meat? Should you just skip the Easter roast and opt for your regular meals?
Not at all! The new Irish meatless meat brand Thanks Plants has launched a meat-free Everyday Roast – perfect for Easter, perfect for any time during the week actually!
According to Aisling Cullen, founder of Thanks Plants, the new Everyday Roast is all thanks to their Festive Roast that sold really well last year.
“(Our customers) wanted a similar product that they could eat all year around. They also wanted a smaller product as many said they are the only vegetarian or vegan in their family so this serves two to three people,” she says. “It’s ideal for a midweek dinner and the leftovers can be used in a sandwich the next day.”
This isn’t just for vegans and vegetarians. “We are finding that many people are trying to reduce their consumption of meat so this is a good alternative dinner for at least one day of the week.”
Thanks Plants products include only tasty wholesome ingredients. Ingredients in the Everyday Roast include vital wheat gluten, cannellini beans, wild rice mix, breadcrumbs, pearl barley, celery, dried apricots, onions, Dijon mustard, garlic, cider vinegar and rapeseed oil.
Serve is the the usual roast trimmings of veggies and potatoes and you have a meal fit for a king!
