Still hoping to through a wintery Christmas market shopping for one of a kind gifts? Luckily the Guinness Storehouse will open their snowy gates on Friday, December 4th for a festive shopping experience like no other. For the whole month of December from 2pm to 8pm (Wednesday to Sunday), the Storehouse will be transformed into the ultimate Winter Village, complete with an exciting line-up of local craft makers, artists and much more – helping everyone to support local businesses this Christmas.
“It’s no doubt that this year has been incredibly tough on Irish trade, especially our small, local and family-run businesses,” founder of The Locals, John Mahon, said.
The Guinness Storehouse and The Locals teamed up together to give Irish brands a place under one roof to sell their products to shoppers this Christmas.
“(…) becoming an integral part of (the Guinness Storehouse’s) winter village is something that will support some local creators, designers and vendors during the busiest season ad it’s something that we are very excited about.”
Guests can browse through stalls looking for unique stocking fillers, or a festive treat. From crafts and jewellery to prints and quirky cards, apparel and homewars to confectionery and decorations, there is something for everyone.
