    Not long to go until Body & Soul 2019 kicks off.

    Body & Soul have officially revealed its 2019 banquet of gastronomic treats. The festival takes place June 21st-23rd in Ballinlough Castle, Co Westmeath.

    In addition to the stellar music line-up, the festival offers unique food experiences, art installations and immersive theatre experiences.

    Foodies will be particularly well covered this year. Lobster, tapas, ramen, vegan burgers and more delectable delights are just some of the treats on offer.

    Commenting on the food ethos, Traders Manager, Corinna Flood said: “We serve up food and music that is good for both the Body & the Soul. Through the selection, management and regulation of the food offering, we see it as an important platform for raising awareness and helping to create positive social change around the issue of sustainability.

    “You won’t see any greasy spoons or processed foods, only original, new to the market and fresh, tasty servings.”

    One exciting addition this year is the launch of a new Veg Village, a dedicated area for scrumptious vegan and vegetarian dishes.

    The village will have a host of specialty vendors on offer such as Vish Shop, Dublin’s first purely vegan take away starring a vegan Fish and Chip; the finest and freshest ingredients from Loving Salads; plant-based vegan burgers from V Face; feisty dishes at Feashty; and Buttercream Dream.

    Festival-goers can indulge themselves at the sustainability-driven Food on Board Area where each vendor will be providing the highest-quality food made with organically sourced ingredients.

    With sustainability at its very core and permeating every strand of the festival, the Food on Board area has been given the eco treatment. Food is served on a wooden board, washed and recycled throughout the weekend.

    The menu this year includes Hawaiian poke bowls from Shaka Poke; freshly barbecued lobster from Julia’s Lobster Truck; toasted sandwiches from Market Kitchen; My Goodness for vegan delights; Si Mami for mouth-watering tacos; Katie Sanderson’s cult White Masusauce makes for super tasty rice bowls; and Diva Boutique for an array of fresh baked goods.

    Other street foods to savour over the weekend are authentic Mexican food from La Concina Cuevas; Kerala Kitchen for a true taste of India; and Grálinn for brunch and Irish tapas, delicious gourmet pizzas provided by Big Blue Bus; and tasty stacked egg sandwiches from Mad Yolks.

    For those looking to taste a little luxury at Body & Soul can choose from Veuve Clicquot’s classic Yellow Label or Rosé champagnes.

    Weekend tickets for Body & Soul are on sale via Ticketbooth on www.bodyandsoul.ie. Limited Spring Release tickets are now on sale, priced at €199.50 plus booking fee. A small number of Campervan passes are also currently on sale, priced €70. Family Tickets are available for those wishing to stay in the dedicated Family Campsite with children aged 12 and under.
