Can you already feel the January blues creeping on in? Why not keep the treat yo self attitude going just a little longer and book yourself in for an overnight stay in the Townhouse of Tannery Cookery School this January.
The Tannery introduces a special January weekend stay with dinner served on shared tables in the chic and cosy Cookery School and an overnight stay in the gorgeous Townhouse, designed to dramatically cheer up any January. These exclusive overnights are taking place on the 17th-18th and the 24th-25th of January 2020, and are available for very limited numbers.
The food theme for these exclusive weekends is school dinners. Now, we know what you’re thinking — “Easy Food, really? School dinners?! That does not scream treat yo self.” However, the Tannery Cookery School dinners bring a whole new meaning to the word.
School Dinners at The Tannery are evenings designed exclusively for residential guests, cooked by chef Paul Flynn, and will showcase Paul’s typically flavour-driven food. As ever, ideas and flavours from Paul’s travels are put on the plate through the lens of Irish produce. Dishes like warm Gubbeen chorizo with butterbean hummus and rosemary; and the very special Seagull Bakery sourdough, potted smoked haddock cream with pickled beetroot and spiced sunflower seeds; melting ox cheek with sherry braised winter cabbage; and a dessert of bay poached pear with chocolate crumble and soft cream; followed by just a little cheese.
Wines to compliment the menu will be served on the evening, with price depending on choice. Including an overnight stay in one of The Tannery Townhouse’s lovely rooms, full breakfast the following day and a welcome drink on arrival, School Dinners at The Tannery are available for €150 per person sharing per night, with very limited numbers for these shared table dining events.
