A busy morning commute always brings its challenges, but none as challenging as ordering a sandwich at rush hour, as one unlucky commuter discovered.
This brilliant open letter surfaced online hours after a mix-up occurred with their orders — and left one without their sandwich for lunch.
Entitled “To the person whose sandwich I just robbed from Insomnia at Heuston station”, the letter of apology was posted to Reddit on Wednesday after the feelings of sandwich guilt presumably became too much to bear.
The emotional letter apologises, but concedes they did eat the sandwich they had acquired amidst all the confusion.

“I’m so sorry, I have no idea what happened. I asked them to heat my scone, a few minutes later they call out about a scone so I take the bag and walk away. But on the train I see there was a sandwich in the bag along with my scone.
“Now I have a sandwich and you do not. This probably delayed you.
“I did eat the sandwich. You have good taste in sandwiches.
“Talk again soon.”
