Four of Ireland’s finest chefs and former colleagues are joining forces once again to create a dining experience on the 5th April 2019 at The Rose Hotel, Tralee.
The ‘fab four’ chefs behind the event are: executive chef of The Rose Hotel, Odran Lucey, executive chef of The Marker Hotel, Gareth Mullins, executive pastry chef and executive chef of The Merrion Hotel, Paul Kelly and Ed Cooney. They will come together on the 5th April for a worthy cause – cooking a five-course meal to raise funds for Recovery Haven Kerry Cancer Support House.
The evening will be starting with snacks created with ingredients sourced from Taste Kerry producers and welcome drinks, followed by a menu prepared by the four chefs. The menu will be featuring: crispy fried hen egg with asparagus, a fish course with spa crab meat tian with apple, ginger and seared tuna loin. Main courses will include a choice of slip sole meunière or fillet of Irish beef.The dessert will be a surprise “Tralee Rose” followed by Irish cheese. Each course on the evening will be accompanied by wines sponsored by The French Market.
The evening will be hosted by Elaine Kinsella of Radio Kerry and music will be provided by Celebration for those who wish to dance the night away after dinner. There will also be a range of spot prizes including a weekend in the Fairmount St. Andrews in Scotland, or overnight stays at The Merrion Hotel and The Marker Hotel.
