Owner of Shells Jane Lambert says, “We want to bring a little joy to people in the form of Valentine’s Day treats. Shells may be closed for sit-in service but that doesn’t mean you can’t get the Shells experience at home. We have also spent time researching, sourcing, and editing the collection on our webshop to bring you all things great. We have collaborated with local artists and craftspeople to create a unique range.”

Jane and Myles Lambert, owners of Shells, announced on January 4th that they would operate click and collection, delivery and orders at their hatch only. Jane adds,  “We’re offering a delivery service and for anyone feeling vulnerable or who may have kids in the car we can bring your order out to your car boot.”

Jane says: “Our goal has always been to keep our community safe and spark a little joy in people’s lives. We want to say a huge thank you to everyone for allowing us to stay working through all this and hope to see all our wonderful customers from all across Ireland soon.”

Shells is the award-winning seaside café and bakery in Strandhill, Sligo. Shells was created by Jane and Myles Lambert and has become the epicentre of Strandhill — normally bustling with surfers and visitors exploring the seafront. Shells draws inspiration from the local landscape, surf, people and Jane and Myles’ extensive travels; it’s the perfect beach café, bright and airy with wooden floors and organic, Fairtrade coffee. Shells make all their own breads, bakes and cakes without the use of preservatives. For more information and to order your Valentine’s Day treats, visit www.shellscafe.com.
