Ingredients
2 ripe pears, cored and chopped into chunks
2 tbsp maple syrup
0 Juice of 1/2 a lemon
2 tbsp water
1 cinnamon stick
0 Shortbread biscuits, crumbled
0 Natural or vanilla yoghurt
Method

1 Place a pan over a medium-low heat and add the pears, maple syrup, lemon juice, water, and cinnamon. Once the mixture reaches a simmer, stir and reduce the heat to low. Cook for another 15 minutes, until the pears are tender but still retain their shape, then remove from the heat. Allow the pears to cool for 2-3 minutes, then remove the cinnamon stick.

2 Crumble some shortbread biscuits between four glasses or jars so that they are one-third full. Fill another third of the way with natural or vanilla yoghurt, then top with the pears.
