Ingredients
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp honey
1 garlic clove, crushed
3 cm piece of ginger, grated
400 g sirloin steak, excess fat trimmed, thinly sliced
1 tbsp vegetable oil
200 g mushrooms, sliced
100 g shiitake mushrooms, sliced
270 g straight-to-wok rice noodles
Method
  1. Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, garlic and ginger in a bowl. Add the steak and toss to combine. Cover with clingfilm and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a small bit of the oil in a frying pan over a medium-high heat and cook the steak for two minutes, turning to brown on all sides. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil.
  3. Heat the remaining oil in the pan and cook both mushrooms for 4-5 minutes until softened. Add the steak marinade and noodles and heat through.
  4. Add the steak and toss to combine.
