Delphi Resort’s Food & Drink Event series has been host to several delicious, informative and fun evenings so far this year, and it’s not over yet! The next event brings you A Seafood Appreciation Evening with Gannet’s Fishmongers of Galway which takes place on Friday, September 2nd.
Food is central to the Delphi Resort experience, and the Food & Event series has been showcasing the talents and produce of the wealth of excellent local farms, growers and producers, full of exciting things to try.
The event will once again be led by Delphi Resort’s award winning Executive Head Chef, Stefan Matz, who will this time be working in conjunction with Stephane Griesbach of Gannet’s Fishmongers to create a unique experience for guests. The event will be held in The 814 Restaurant, beginning with a drinks reception and canapés featuring ‘Bites from the Sea.’ The seafood appreciation will continue in with a five-course seafood tasting menu with accompanying wines and will feature the best of local fish and shellfish. The evening will be hosted by Stephane Griesbach, who founded Gannet’s Fishmongers in 2004 and has grown to become one of the most respected fish businesses in Ireland supplying seafood to thousands of houses and to some of the best restaurants and hotels along the Wild Atlantic Way. Stephane will deliver a unique and informative dining experience while showcasing the quality of the catch and the expertise the Gannet team puts into their work. Guests will enjoy delicious seafood that is fresh, wild and Irish-caught.

The cost is all inclusive at €75 per person, which includes a drinks reception with wine and canapés – ‘Bites from the Sea’, plus a five-course tasting menu with accompanying wines and lots of interaction from the hosts.
